Holiday party!

Seasons Greetings Glammies!!!! So this was my look for the Holiday Party at my command. Yes, we have Holidays or Christmas parties in the military. Lol. So always, my make up wasn't as complicated.....I used the same make up I always use...MAC's Face and Body......a few MAC eyeshadows mixed with a few Urban Decay Naked Palette eyeshadows. My lips....I used MAC's Odyssey and a Rimmel lip gloss in a red. I can't remember the name of it right now. Well if you guys have any questions on the look....hit me up. Happy Turkey Day Glammies!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day Glammies!!! Hope everyone enjoyed the day and ate lots of great food. So today I decided to share my make up of the day. It's basically a look that I posted before. The neutral look. I decided to go with this look because it would be subtle and glamorous at the same time. The eyeshadows I used were Arena by MAC and the Naked Palette by Urban Decay. The foundation was MAC's face and body mixed with MAC's Select Tint (discontinued) and the MAC's Mineralized Natural Finishing Powder. The Blush is Orgasm by NARS. And mascara is Great Lash by Maybelline. My lips....I used Fresh Brew by MAC and and Stay Glossy by Rimmel in the color Gold. The other thing I wanted to share was my new nail color. I wear a gel overlay on my nails to keep them from breaking. My nail technician suggested the Stuck on You powder because I told her I was military and I cannot wear crazy colors. This Stuck on You color is totally fabulous!!! I love it! It's so chic and classy. I also got it on my toes with the nail polish. This will be a staple look of mines. I'm a simple girl. I don't do the fancy designs and stuff. Just straight up color. I'm totally living this look. Glammies let me know what you think. Well....stay glamorous!!

Product review....

Happy Veteran's Day Glammies!!! So I decided to try out another drugstore product. I was looking for a cheaper end mascara that would give me a high end look. The product is Great Lash by Maybelline. I am really liking this mascara. It goes on smooth and I don't have to keep adding and adding to get it to show up. It's a definite must-have to use for an everyday look. This will be a staple in my makeup routine for my everyday look to work. I wore this look today to get my free meal for being a Veteran. Not a serious glammed up look, its basically my work look, just with a lipstick instead of a lip gloss. That's all for now.....stay glamorous!'

Facial mask review....

So I'm reviewing the other peel mask that I told you about that I purchased from Ultra. This one I loved. My skin felt so smooth and soft afterwards. And it didn't hurt when I peeled it off like the Pomegranate one. So I recommend the Green tea Peel off mask. Stay glamorous!!

Product review.....

So I needed a liquid concealer because the only concealer I have ever used was a potted MAC concealer and I wanted to try a liquid one. I decided to go with a drugstore product just to see if I liked the liquid better than the potted one. The brand I decided on is from Cover Girl's Queen Collection in Natural Hue. I have been using it for a week now and I do like liquid better. The application is faster and easier to work with. I have never used any other kind so I can't compare it to other liquid based concealer. But I do like the product. Only thing I find that I don't like about it is that it is too thin. So it doesn't conceal as much as I would like it to. Well ladies....that's all on that. Until next time......stay glamorous!!

My look for heading to a baby shower......

Moisturizing lips......

So I found a new lip balm which I totally love and had to share with you ladies. Not only does it work well as a moisturizer, but it tastes good too. Lol! I bought the flavor Strawberry Sorbet. Works well under lipsticks and glosses. Highly recommend it! Stay Glamorous!!!!!

The nude lip......

A day in downtown Miami.....I wore simple makeup to browse the stores and sip some coffee. The products I used are listed below:

Facial Mask......

So.....I purchased two facial peel masks and I tried the one below out last night. Passion Peel.....deeps cleans, purify and protects. It includes the ingredients pomegranate and Passion flower. I'm happy with the results. The pros are that I felt like it cleaned my pores and left my face smooth. The cons are that it had my eyes burning from the fumes. I'm thinking....why are there fumes from this mask and why is it burning my eyes??? I don't know. Lol...well it may be better not to know. The other con is that my skin was very dry after, but a facial lotion solved that which may have defeated the purpose to cleaning my pores. So all in all, i will give it a 6. because of my eyes burning. Lol! I will review the other mask in a few days or so. Till then ladies......stay glamorous!!!

"An iridescent cocoa mauve."

I totally love this color. It's a nice neutral and it's classy and chic. Great color for any occasion and time of the year because it will go with everything. Stay Glamorous!!!

Night out on the town make up......

So I went out last night cuz I was baby free for the weekend. It was a casual night out....to a restaurant where they hold game night for adults. So I decide to use my Naked palette by Urban Decay to go with a neutral look. My first time using this palette and I totally love it!! It's a must-have.

Product of the day......

Nars Blush- Deep throat.


Pretty pink with a hit of a golden sheen that's pretty for a soft look. I totally love blushes. This is my first Nars blush and I'm loving it. ( I usually only wear MAC, but I'm trying other make up lines.)

Outfit of the day........

Ok so here's a quick outfit to hit a happy hour, lunch or brunch with the girls. I paired a tank top with shorts and a pair of heeled sandals. Polished the look off with simple jewelry, hair, and make up. The top I got from the Navy Exchange, the shorts are from Express and the shoes are from Bakers. Hope you like! Stay Glamorous!!!

Night out on the town......

So this was my outfit for a Friday night out with the girls. Simple can be classy for a night of fun in downtown Fort Lauderdale. This look was inspired by a picture of Halle Berry out with her boyfriend. I wore a simple sleeveless charcoal gray tube top from Wet Seal with black jeans from Charlotte Russe and heels from Shoe Dazzle. Also my clutch is from Aldo. Simple jewelry and make up to polish the look. Hope you all liked the look!

Product of the day.......

As a glamorous woman over 30....your nails are very important. I bought 2 new nail polishes yesterday and got my nails done. I used the color Mamba by Essie. Totally loving this color!!! It's a neutral color that makes it perfect for the working girl. It compliments my skin tone and it's so pretty. I am in love with neutral toned color right now. It's my thing. Lol. If you are looking for a neutral color this is the one. It will compliment any skin tone. Also I love Essie nail polish brand. They have fabulous colors that are so pretty and chic. They offer such a wide variety of colors to choose.

MAC Request Collection

This is a bit of late news....but I'll share anyway. I just created my blog a few days ago so thats why its late. Anyway....MAC decided to bring back discontinued colors in Lipsticks, eye shadows, and lip glosses. They left it up to the customers to request which ones to bring back. The top 3 of each product is back. Some of these are already sold out. One of the most popular items to come back is the lip shade called Candy Yum Yum. If I happen to get my hands on any of these products I will be posting different looks that can be achieved with them.
